COMMENTS
Initially, I wanted to post what I had ACTUALLY listened to the most this year, with the 1-2-3 spots going to Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" (long shot for #1), Van Morrison's "Veedon Fleece," and Fred Neil's self-titled with him on the cover crepily cradling that girl, respectively. Eventually, I realized that by doing this I would be resorting to a smirking irony that I can't stand. Then I thought that it was true, and that a hipster douche who said something along the lines of "that's so ironic" would inspire an even deeper sense of loathing. In the end, I realized I don't give a shit, so I just played by the rules. Hey, with all these ballots, it's like a Choose Your Own Adventure. But then it'd be like throwing a vote for the hell of it, and I'd rather be a willing participant than the spoil sport who's fun for a second and annoying forever. Also, there's comments, so, go out and buy Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" because no one this year made anything that comes even remotely close to it. They'd blush just breathing on it.
