Dear Mr Somnambulist
Thank you for the avatar. My best Chrissie present so far! Seriously, that was very kind of you.

Thanks for the link, I didn't know the site as I have been keeping my Connie love on the DL. No, I studied primarily ninteenth century prose and poetry and american history, but I took a lot of film classes, mainly old hollywood/horror/noir. Boy, those were the days of wine and fucking around on borrowed money/time....

I love your nickname. Not to be creepy or anything, but I've always wanted to admit to someone that I think Conrad Veidt was damn cute in that movie. Is that sick? I did independent study in German Expressionism so I got to watch Connie as Gwynplaine and Ivan the Terrible. Good times. Confession made, TTYL!!!11!

"Truth," said a traveller,
"Is a rock, a mighty fortress;
Often have I been to it,
Even to its highest tower,
From whence the world looks black."
"Truth," said a traveller,
"Is a breath, a wind,
A shadow, a phantom;
Long have I pursued it,
But never have I touched
The hem of its garment."
And I believed the second traveller;
For truth was to me
A breath, a wind,
A shadow, a phantom,
And never had I touched
The hem of its garment.

Choire, I could not disagree more.
In fact, appointing Bill Kristol as a New York Times op-ed columnist is pretty much the BEST idea ever!!!!
But only if he promises to move to the Sunni Triangle without a bodyguard, and drive to Sadr City a few times a week to explain his ideas to the people who gather in the coffee shops there.

@karion:
Oh sure, let's make this about you and Maggie.
HA!
(That would mean it isn't about me and Sheila, duh.)
